Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother was a school cook in a seaside village called Fundil, Portugal. They had to take home leftover food from school and feed it to their three children. In his free time, the football-loving father only had time to talk about football. He was teaching his son to play football with him. Little by little, football became Cristiano’s passion.
Christian’s childhood was spent in a state of extreme poverty. He used to wait for his mother after school. Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won five times the Ballandeur Award, which is like football’s Oscar, is not liked by everyone. There will be a lot of people who don’t like it.
